A graduate of Accountancy and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

With over 34 years working experience both in the Public and Private sectors, including 17 years in executive and management positions in banking, 8 years in government as both Commissioner of Finance and Commissioner of Trade and Investment.

Mr. Anani supervised the implementation, from concept to the realization, of the US$400m Tinapa project (a mixed use development) in Cross River State, Nigeria and served as the project’s pioneer Managing Director.

Thereafter Mr. Anani returned to the Private sector and currently seats on the board of several other Nigerian companies.
